3 Day Sneak Peek into Beachbody Coaching

Today as I was listening to some personal development podcasts while doing laundry it brought me back to when I was first a Beachbody Coach. When my coach approached me about the opportunity via social media I thought to myself, hmmm.....I need some extra accountability in my life. I knew that I loved Beachbody programs and this Shakeology stuff is pretty awesome. There was this little voice inside me that said, DO IT!
In the past I would have said I'm too busy OR I would never be good at something like that. I specifically remember texting my coach and saying, "Is there a sales minimum?" Proceeded by "You promise you will never pressure or push me?" She assured me neither was the case. I let it marinate for a few days and went on a long run with my husband as we were training for the Disney Wine & Dine half marathon. I was nervous but I told him that I really thought becoming a Beachbody coach would keep me accountable on my health and fitness journey. Why not get a discount on programs and products I already wanted and loved. He thought I was crazy. Usually I let him have the final say in all that goes on in our house. This time, I persisted. I told him that I really thought I could be good at it and if I inspired just a few people along my journey that it would all be worth it. I even remember saying, after a few months I will quit. Wow!! Looking back on that long run in October I had NO IDEA what would be in store for me. The last 8 months have been mind blowing!!! I have been able to find something that I am truly passionate about, HELPING OTHERS!! All the while I am able to use creativity, social media and heart to build an awesome at home business for myself and my team!!
Now I invite you to learn a little more about what Beachbody coaching is. Even if you are just the slightest bit interested in what it is that I'm always posting about, comment below or message me! Christina, Lindsey and I have 3 awesome days planned for you beginning TUESDAY JUNE 7TH - THURSDAY JUNE 9TH. There is no commitments or obligations in joining. It's a private group for you to ask question or just lurk around.
We will talk about what a coach actually does, the different types of coaches, how much it costs to get started, how much we actually earn and how even though we aren't fitness professionals we have still been able to help others! I truly look forward to this group because coaching has become something that I believe in and I want YOU to learn more about, even if it is for someone other than yourself. Clean Turkey Chili

I love CLEAN meals that I can make ahead of time, reheat well and are healthy!  I don't always have time to make a fresh meal each time I need to eat.  I LOVE leftovers!  I try to cook extra at times to have leftovers for lunch the next day or to freeze as my own personal homemade frozen meal.

That being said, there aren't a ton of meals out there that are a complete meal and reheat well.  One pot meals with a protein, veggie and complex carbohydrate are a busy Mommy's dream!  Chili is one of those meals for our family!  Do my kids eat it, no....maybe in time!  But, it's something that I can make a BIG batch of easily and relatively quick.  I'm always on the hunt for great clean meals and this is a GREAT one that is also 21 Day Fix AND 21 Day Fix Extreme Approved!!!

(Makes 6 servings, 1 cup each) **doubles well**

1 tsp olive oil
1 1/2 lbs ground lean turkey, chicken or beef
1 medium onion
1 large zucchini
2 cups sliced carrots
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp sea salt or Himalayan salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (to taste; optional)
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 (15 oz) cans black beans or pinto beans undrained
1 (15 oz) can all-natural diced tomatoes
12 fresh cilantro sprigs, finely chopped (for garnish; optional)

Directions
  1. Heat oil in large sauce pan over medium-high heat
  2. Add meat, veggies, and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 8 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink
  3. Add all spices; cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute
  4. Add beans and tomatoes (with liquid). Add 1/2 can of water if seems too dry.  Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low; gently boil, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until thickened.
  5. Serve warm, sprinkle with cilantro.
Container Equivalents
1 Green
1 Red
1/2 Yellow

You could also make this recipe in a Crockpot!  I serve with 1/4 cup of wild or brown rice.  This recipe freezes well and I highly encourage you double the recipe and freeze individual portions for busy days!  Enjoy!!!

Its almost time for the BIG GAME! The Super Bowl is TOMORROW!!! I'm not a big football fan but I love any excuse for a party!  We aren't attending a party but we are having a few friends over.  You better believe they will be expecting some yummy healthy goodies to much on!  What would a Super Bowl be without GAME DAY TREATS?!

Instead of something full of fat and not many nutritious ingredients, I will be serving this SUPER YUMMY Buffalo Hummus!  It is just the right amount of spicy with tang.  I would by lying if said it didn't taste like buffalo chicken wings!!! Serve it up with some celery, cauliflower, cucumbers or tortilla chips!  This dish is perfect for parties or eating all by yourself!  It would make a great sandwich spread or topper to chicken before you baked it!  I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients:
1-15 ounce can chickpeas, drained - preferably Organic
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon sea or Himalayan salt
1 clove garlic
2-3 tablespoons Frank's Red Hot hot sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil

Directions:Blend everything except olive oil together in a food processor or high speed blender. Once well combined, add olive oil and mix again.  Add small amount of water if too dry. Serve immediately or save in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Great as a dip or sandwich spread!

Want to know a secret!  This dish is also Vegan, Gluten Free, Nut free and Soy free!  It is also approved on the 21 day fix!  The hummus is an approved blue container, veggies a green container and if you used chips, a yellow container!  Enjoy 21 day fixers!!!!

So what is this whole coaching thing??

I have been getting a lot of questions lately about Beachbody Coaching! How did I get started? What is a Challenge Group? How can I help others without being a sales person? How much time does it take? Does it cost money to sign up?

OR maybe you've tried Beachbody products such as P90x, Insanity or Shakeology through an infomercial or Amazon but never knew that you could get a discount on these products!!
So, to help answer all of these questions, my team and I have put together a 5 day SNEAK PEAK into Beachbody Coaching! This will be a closed private Facebook group where we will cover a few common concerns, questions and topics about coaching.
If you have any interest please message me or comment below to join the sneak peak group starting Monday January 26th!!!
**No purchase or obligations***
