Eeeekkkk!!! So excited to announce our team's latest project, a FREE 5 Day healthy Crock Pot meal group!

As a busy Mom of 3 and a traveling husband I know how crazy life gets.  I'm always struggling with what to make for dinner and if everyone will eat it.  So, in hopes of helping other busy Mommies out there I have collaborated with my team and created this awesome FREE 5 Day meal plan that will center around the crock pot!!

This past weekend my family spent some QT at the Contemporary at Disney World.  It showed me that I need to slow down and refocus.  I need to make time to step away from the reality of life and just giggle with my littles.  I want that for YOU!!  I want you to focus on being with your littles and NOT worrying about slaving in the kitchen!!

So what can you expect from this group?
  • We will begin officially on Monday, November 16th and going for 5 days till November 20th.  There will be a few days for you to invite your friends and help other busy ladies like us!
  • Friday, November 13th we will provide you with the meal plan and grocery list for the week to come.
  • Each morning there will be a post before 6am that will give you the recipe for the day so that you can get your meal a cooking before your day begins.

Be Our Guest Review

Ever since we saw the Be Our Guest restaurant construction begin a few YEARS ago we have wanted to try out the restaurant.  When it was new there were crazy long lines.  Being annual pass-holders we decided to wait it out.  So after craziness settled down I suggested to my husband Jason to make a reservation for his birthday!

We had no idea what to expect.  I did not look up reviews, etc before I made the reservation and even before going.  I assumed it would be a character full service dining like most Disney restaurants are.  Wow, we were so wrong but pleasantly surprised!  Be Our Guest is a higher-end fast service restaurant.  How fun!!

We walked up, gave our name and waited in a short line outside.  They escorted us inside where we waited in another line.  We had never been so we did not know what to expect.  The kids enjoyed the lobby and atmosphere!  Next we were shown to the room where you order at a kiosk.  There is a computer screen with pictures of the food options.  Wow!  There were so many different healthy options!  We went for lunch so I will tell you what we had and our review but for the whole menu check it out here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/magic-kingdom/be-our-guest-restaurant/menus/

My husband ordered the Croque Monsieur.  It is a grilled sandwich of carved ham and gruyere cheese and bechamel with pommes frites for $11.49.  He said it was pretty good and the portion was average. Basically it was a pressed Ham sandwich with fries.  Nothing special and a safe choice.

For the kids we split the whole-grain macaroni with marinara sauce and mozzarella and a side of peach applesauce for $6.99 as well as the grilled cheese with tomato soup and a side of french fries for $8.99.  The kids really enjoyed their food.  The macaroni came plain so you could add as much sauce or cheese as you would like which was really nice.  The grilled cheese was cut up into 3 long strips perfect for dipping.  Everyone enjoyed a few fries and the applesauce was just ok.  My daughter wouldn't eat it but our littlest did.

I try to eat a healthy clean diet and follow the 21 day fix 80% of the time so for myself, I ordered the Tuna Niçoise Salad.  It was a generous portion of seared tuna steak, green beans, a few small roasted potatoes, olives, roasted bell peppers, sliced cherry tomatoes and small poached egg for $13.49.  I really enjoyed this salad and wasn't able to finish the tuna steak.  While following the 21 day fix or 21 day fix extreme I would consider this salad to be 1.5 green, 1.5 red, 1 orange  1/2 blue and 1/4 yellow containers.  Personally I left off a lot of the olives and salad dressing because it was flavorful enough with the variety of veggies and tuna steak.

Tuna Niçoise Salad

Overall we REALLY enjoyed the ambiance, food choices and decorations.  The kids loved looking at all of the different rooms and their wall hangings.  They LOOOOVED the enchanted rose and asked me to take lots of pictures to look back on.  I would a major bonus was the dark air conditioned rooms as they were a nice break from the July Florida heat.  We will definitely be going back!!

Always fun trying to get a picture of all 3

3 Day Sneak Peek into Beachbody Coaching

Today as I was listening to some personal development podcasts while doing laundry it brought me back to when I was first a Beachbody Coach. When my coach approached me about the opportunity via social media I thought to myself, hmmm.....I need some extra accountability in my life. I knew that I loved Beachbody programs and this Shakeology stuff is pretty awesome. There was this little voice inside me that said, DO IT!
In the past I would have said I'm too busy OR I would never be good at something like that. I specifically remember texting my coach and saying, "Is there a sales minimum?" Proceeded by "You promise you will never pressure or push me?" She assured me neither was the case. I let it marinate for a few days and went on a long run with my husband as we were training for the Disney Wine & Dine half marathon. I was nervous but I told him that I really thought becoming a Beachbody coach would keep me accountable on my health and fitness journey. Why not get a discount on programs and products I already wanted and loved. He thought I was crazy. Usually I let him have the final say in all that goes on in our house. This time, I persisted. I told him that I really thought I could be good at it and if I inspired just a few people along my journey that it would all be worth it. I even remember saying, after a few months I will quit. Wow!! Looking back on that long run in October I had NO IDEA what would be in store for me. The last 8 months have been mind blowing!!! I have been able to find something that I am truly passionate about, HELPING OTHERS!! All the while I am able to use creativity, social media and heart to build an awesome at home business for myself and my team!!
Now I invite you to learn a little more about what Beachbody coaching is. Even if you are just the slightest bit interested in what it is that I'm always posting about, comment below or message me! Christina, Lindsey and I have 3 awesome days planned for you beginning TUESDAY JUNE 7TH - THURSDAY JUNE 9TH. There is no commitments or obligations in joining. It's a private group for you to ask question or just lurk around.
We will talk about what a coach actually does, the different types of coaches, how much it costs to get started, how much we actually earn and how even though we aren't fitness professionals we have still been able to help others! I truly look forward to this group because coaching has become something that I believe in and I want YOU to learn more about, even if it is for someone other than yourself. So comment below, email me at healthylifewith3@gmail.com or request to be added here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1461611054139688/

Disney Fast Service dinner option

Last night we went out to dinner at one of the Disney Hotels.  Living in Orlando, one of the FREE things we like to do with our kids is go out to eat at a Disney Hotel.  The kids love to run around the chosen resort, play on the playground and go in the gift shop.  It makes us feel like we are on vacation for a few hours!

Since I have started my journey with the 21 day fix and cleaning up my nutrition one of my main focuses as a coach is to help people make good choices while eating out!  Soooo many trainers, coaches and plans advise again eating out, while I agree it is a healthier choice and way to optimize your results, it also isn't always doable or very fun.  Eating and meals are VERY social acts.  I know for myself, I'm always facing temptations at playdates, lunch dates, parties, date nights, etc.  You name it, there is temptation!  Sometimes it is not always easy to make the best choice.

I don't post about this for you to think 'oh I will just eat out all the time and loose weight', the main goal of a healthy lifestyle is to learn how to prepare YOUR OWN clean meals.  It's simple, If you don't learn how to do it yourself, you will just revert once you stop using prepared meals.  It is not healthy or sustainable financially to buy prepackaged meals, frozen meals, eat out every meal or pay someone to make your meals for you.  I know it may be hard at first, but take one meal, one day at a time.  I promise if you start small you can make huge changes in a short amount of time.  The goal is health first, weight loss second!

So, back to my Disney fast service dinner!  What did I order?

White meat turkey (no gravy), corn, and steamed veggies!  Hold the cornbread!!

I post this meal idea photo so that you can see that I'm a real person, with 3 young children and we go out to eat. I have learned how to make healthier choices while on the go but I do try to eat at home more now then before.

Always remember, food at restaurants has a TON of added salt and butter, but it's also not realistic to think you will never eat out again. My family loves to live on the go!  Plus, who doesn't LOVE Disney!!!
