PB&J Oats

Eating out on the weekends used to be a 'thing' of my husband and I for as long as I can remember. Before kids. After kids. Even still with all 3 we enjoy breakfast out!  

If you follow my blog you know I believe you can maintain a healthy lifestyle while eating out in moderation, you just have to learn how to make good choices. 

I prefer to eat at home as much as I can. #1 to save money
#2 to save frustration, eating out with 3 littles isn't always the most fun
#3 because it's better for us. It's not a secret that Resturant food has a lot of added flavors, fats and you don't know the quality of the food you're eating. 

This morning for a quick yummy, Resturant like breakfast I made PB&J Oats! 



Ingredients: 
1/2 cup prepped steal cut oats
2 tsp peanut butter
1/4 cup cut up organic strawberries drizzle of agave (optional)

Directions: 
Reheat or make steel cut oats according to package directions. Portion out 1/2 cup oats. Stir in peanut butter. Add strawberries on top. Drizzle with agave if desired. I also add a splash of unsweetened almond milk. Enjoy!!!
